You know, the little trees/bushes that are super popular over in Japan? Bonsai makes for a really great hobby as they don’t take up a huge amount of space, can live to be very old just like regular trees and studies have shown that working with bonsai trees can be very relaxing by reducing stress.
One of the easiest bonsai trees to take care of is the jade bonsai tree. It has been reported to reach heights of close to 6 feet in southern Africa however you can greatly reduce the tress overall size by keeping it in a smaller container. It is also a very slow going tree as it can take close to 20 years for it to even reach close to 3 feet in height. Which can be a really great experience and something that can be a great idea for telling guests about the joy of keeping bonsai.
