It has been reported to reach heights of close to 6 feet in southern Africa however you can greatly reduce the tress overall size by keeping it in a smaller container. It is also a very slow going tree as it can take close to 20 years for it to even reach close to 3 feet in height. Which can be a really great experience and something that can be a great idea for telling guests about the joy of keeping bonsai.
